Dr. Jodi Houser
Dr. Houser is originally from Southern Ohio, but has made her home in Licking County since 2006. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science at Miami University, where she was a member of the Waterski Club and an Intramural Sports Supervisor. She earned her Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 where she was the Treasurer of the Student Chapter of the AVMA. She has experience with both companion and farm animals and enjoys the diversity and challenges that come with treating multiple species.
Dr. Houser has been married to her college sweetheart, Jeff, since 2000. They have two beautiful children; Shannon and Drew. She also shares her home with her dog – Molly, and three cats – Oliver, Axl, and Petunia. In her free time, she enjoys waterskiing, Ohio State Football, golf, and reading.

Dr. Houser has special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and ultrasound.

Dr. Coppel is originally from a farm in Northwest Ohio, she moved to Columbus in 2006 and currently resides in Westerville. She attended The Ohio State University where she completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science in 2010 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She has experience with farm animals, but has been in small animal practice since graduation. Dr. Coppel has special interest in internal medicine, dermatology, and ultrasound.
Dr. Coppel and her husband, Michael, married in October 2015. They currently share their home with a golden labrador named Aiden, a fluffy shih tzu mix named Gunny, and one frisky feline named Toulouse. In her free time, Dr. Coppel enjoys yoga, shopping, spending time with family, and Ohio State Football.

Lead Registered Veterinary Technician & Hospital Manager
Lindsay graduated from Columbus State Community College with her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2008. She worked in a private practice for 13 years before joining the team at Newark Veterinary Hospital in May 2016. She is dedicated to promoting high quality patient care, loves working at a fast pace, and possess a strong passion for internal medicine. She also takes special interest in emergency medicine, critical patient care, fluid therapy, fear free techniques, surgery, and anesthetic monitoring.
Lindsay is a member of the Ohio Association of Veterinary Technicians and the Veterinary Practice Management Network.
She enjoys spending most of her free time with her husband and high school sweetheart Nathan and two children. They love to spend their time in the great outdoors hiking and fishing. Her 4-legged family includes 6 dogs, 4 cats, two turtles, and a tortoise.
Veterinary Technician Student
Kelsi lives in Somerset with her husband Jarrod and two children; Hunter and Aubrey. She has a black lab named Zoey, and a Beagle named Bandit. They have a small farm where they raise club lambs for children in 4H. Kelsi is currently pursuing her Veterinary Technician license online and will be a RVT in 1-2 years. Kelsi has always had a love for animals and couldn’t be happier going to work and being around them all day. Brittany Miller
Brittany lives in Newark with her husband Nick and their three boys; Brody, Miles, and Mason. She has three dogs, a lab named Finley, a hound mix named Marlee, and a golden retriever puppy named Jax. After being a stay at home mom for the last 6 years she decided it was time for a change. This is the first veterinary hospital she has worked in and loves it! Brittany has always had a love for animals and enjoys working with them every day. Chris Hawkins
Chris resides in Hebron with her husband, Daniel and many pets. She attended Capital University, and studied music. Chris has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. She like to collect comics and anything cat related. Katie Henery
